The Maple Group partners with leading organisations across sport, community and education to deliver meaningful, measurable outcomes for people with disability.
Through our partnership with Athletics NSW, Maple supported the establishment of the first dedicated para-athletics pathway and Disability Liaison role within the organisation.
We recognise the critical role sport plays in supporting physical, social and mental wellbeing — and historically, there have been significant barriers to participation for people with disability.
This initiative directly addressed those barriers, contributing to a 400% increase in participation of athletes with disability, creating greater access to sport and delivering measurable improvements in community engagement and wellbeing outcomes.
In partnership with the Australian Football League, Maple has supported inclusive football initiatives focused on accessibility and participation at scale. This includes a range of national programs, with a key focus on the delivery of 75+ specialised wheelchairs, enabling access to Wheelchair AFL programs across Australia. These programs have helped open participation pathways for 5,000+ individuals who would otherwise face financial and physical barriers to entry.
By working within one of Australia’s largest sporting ecosystems, this initiative is helping remove barriers and create more inclusive participation opportunities across the country.
Maple’s scholarship program supports individuals with disability in accessing education, training and personal development opportunities.
We recognise that navigating education pathways can be complex — particularly for individuals already facing additional challenges. Our focus is on removing those barriers and creating practical pathways to independence.
To date, Maple has delivered 10+ scholarships, supporting individuals to build skills, confidence and long-term opportunity.
These scholarships are designed to:
